Handsome Pete

Handsome Pete is Michigan's hardest working, heavy hitting rock and roll band, voted number one in their genre on ReverbNation. Formed in 2015 as a gigging cover band, the group quickly developed a taste for more. Coming from various musical backgrounds, together they molded their unique sound forming a mesh of 90s alternative and hard rock. In early 2016, the group's first album “Dancing For Nickels” Was born- with driving hard rock riffs and catchy vocal melodies, they hit the music scene and gained steam fast. Since the release of their album the group has played countless shows and gained fans from all over the country. Still grinding in 2018, the group has taken runner up in the 2017 “Homegrown Throwdown”, won the local portion of Hard Rock Cafe’s “Hard Rock Rising”, won the "Rockin the Shores music and Beer Festival ", "Next To Rock" Top 5 Reginal finalist battle of the bands and has opened up for national touring acts that include Heartsick, September Mourning, Letters From the Fire, Wayland, 36 Crazy Fists, FLAW, Sponge, Saving Able, Quiet Riot, and most recently Grand Funk Railroad. Having Achieved so much in a small amount of time, they have set their sights higher to go national and are currently working on their second album titled “Small Miracles”.
