... Five DIRTBAG Endorsed Artists will be rocking the bill at the APOCALYPSE IN THE DESERT Metal Fest in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hosted by our good friends at BACKSTAGE BAR AND BILLIARDS / FREMONT COUNTRY CLUB. These folks know how to put on a great event, and surely... rock n' roll will be had by all who attend!

Last Saturday, DIRTBAGS from all over the U.S. came together under the cold, rainy sky for the wettest, muddiest Michigan Metalfest to date. Don Jamieson (Comedian, That Metal Show) joined us for the day, hopped on stage to introduce BACKLASH (DIRTBAG song contest winners) on the DIRTBAG Stage, and also did a short comedy set on the main stage while the crowd waited to watch TALLAH.

Early in the day, long-time DIRTBAG Artists THE CONVALESCENCE brutalized the stage, throwing bloody hearts, and shooting water rifles into the (already wet) crowd. BACKLASH ripped out an epic 2-part set, which was interrupted by a lightning delay.. but we got a rockin’ on-stage interview of them while we waited for the sky to clear (STAY TUNED).

Due to a series of unfortunate events, the DIRTBAG Stage was shut down mid-day, and our Endorsed Artists, REDEFIND and CASKET ROBBERY were unfortunately unable to perform.

DIRTBAGS showed out in FULL-FORCE at Michigan Metalfest this year. Festival metalheads showed their true grit and love of the genre, as they spun and flipped their soaking wet hair in the cold-pouring rain.. all. day. long.

Formed in South Florida in 1988 by Greg Brown, Jeff Osias and joined later on bass with Clint Jacoby. Disbanded in 1991 but revived by Greg Brown in 2018 with 2 releases, a 30th Anniversary release and an all CD called "Obsidian Dreams"

Them Evils had a breakout year in 2018 with 1st single and video "Got Me Rockin'", which premiered @ Loudwire. Key playlist adds included Spotify Rock Hard, & Riffs playlists, Alternative Press Discover, and Loudwire Wired Weekly; Apple Music Breaking Hard Rock; Pandora New Rock channel; Google Play Music Rock Hotlist and Hard Rock Hotlist radio, helped the band gain momentum. Press looks were posted at Kerrang, Loudwire, AXS, Rock Revolt, and others that added to the bands critical acclaim.

They have been road warriors for the past 4 years - the band have caught the ear of no less an icon than Zakk Wylde, as well as touring with The Pretty Reckless, Alter Bridge, Red Sun Rising, and 10 Years, among others. The band plans to continue touring, with breaks in between to finish recording additional new music to be released in the latter part of 2019.
