Dirtbag rocker FRANK PALANGI to play Woodstock 50th anniversary

ROAD TO WOODSTOCK - Dirtbag Endorsed Artist FRANK PALANGI- Upstate NY rock recording artist has recently landed the opportunity to travel to Kansas to perform as a main act on Aug 16th 2019 at the upcoming iconic 50th Woodstock Music Festival -- sharing the stage with worldwide acts including Jefferson Starship, Dave Evans from AC/DC and more! Frank has been continuously pursuing his dream of making music for a living for several years now. "No Plan B" as he states. You may have caught him playing opening for national artists such as 3 Doors Down and Aaron Lewis or festivals including RockNDerby and Uproar or in a local bar or at a community outdoor event. Palangi wanted to become a career musician and singer-songwriter since he was a teenager, and began on this path by releasing his debut self-titled EP in 2011. Influenced by bands from the 80's (Metallica, Ozzy, Def Leppard, Megadeth), 90's (Creed, Godsmack, 3 Doors Down), 2000's (Daughtry, Three Days Grace, Shinedown), he fuses rock n' roll with a post-grunge sound to sculpt his positive, clean musical motifs. Grounded from a solid support system from his upbringing while his motivations are centralized around positivity and not the temptations of a stereotypical rockstar lifestyle. From an early childhood he learned to adapt to his chronic medical illness that impacted his decisions in his everyday life, turning it all around as a force to bring his dreams into reality saying "I have no Plan B backing down on my dreams." Frank is the recipient of an LA Music Award nomination, three Akademia Music Awards, an Unsigned Only Semi-Finalist Award, WIGWAM Online Radio Best Male Artist Award as well as a local Best Acoustic Solo Artist in the region with the Post Star/Chronicle and Metroland Magazine. - Booking now for opening slots, acoustic gigs, events, fundraisers, recording work, voice overs:

Dirtbag Artists DAYS TO COME assist Hurricane Michael relief

Dirtbag Artists DAYS TO COME assist Hurricane Michael relief

In the wake of the most recent natural disaster affecting the East Coast, newly endorsed Dirtbag Artists, DAYS TO COME stepped up to the plate to help with relief efforts.. Hurricane Michael made landfall on October 10th, 2018 as a Category 4 storm- the first of its kind in history to affect the Florida Panhandle, resulting in at least 13 killed. The storm made it as far as Albany, Georgia, the hometown of DAYS TO COME; a smaller city that sees the occasional tornado, or flood from the Flint River, but rarely ever a hurricane. Although none of their homes were damaged, the band spent over a week outside, working long days, chopping up tree trunks and cleaning up the mess so that life in Albany could resume as normal. There is still much more work to do, as Hurricane Michael is said to have caused upwards of $4.5 billion in property damage, and over $3 billion in damage to Florida's forestland.

Those who rise above and beyond to help others and their communities are the real Dirtbags.

Dextress Keith Runco to tech on Stone Temple Pilots, Seether tour

99% of this game is being in the right place at the right time.. and getting in through the back door; the other 1% is style. Just ask Keith Runco of the Canadian Sex-Rock group Dextress .. He was recently given the opportunity to assist on tour as a stage tech for Canadian rock quartet "AGE OF DAYS" - his friend who originally had the gig couldn't make it work with his schedule, so when Keith got the phone call, the answer was a no-brainer. "It's the best 'job' on the planet", says Runco. The tour features Stone Temple Pilots and Seether as headliners with special guests AGE OF DAYS and DEFAULT.

Dirtbag Endorsed Artists create their own whiskey

Dirtbag Endorsed Artists create their own whiskey

13 NAILS is the "prime time rock band extravaganza" of Fort Collins, Colorado, who sprinkle a b-movie vibe over their heavy metal, hardcore horror punk sound. Having headlined tours, and opened for worldwide acts like John 5 & The Creatures, Mushroomhead, Dope, THC, Pop Evil and many many others, the band brings a big show to every stage. 13 Nails recently partnered with a local Fort Collins distillery to create their own blend and brand of whiskey. 13 Nails' frontman Johnny Lambert gave us the low down: From the original idea to the final product, explain how your band created their own whiskey… At first it was just a T-shirt design we had that was selling really well, and then as we grew as a band, I started to email sponsors. I happened across Feisty Spirits as a local company, and we sat and discussed the idea of a Halloween/Fall flavor release. That was 3 years ago, and now here we are with it growing! Why whiskey, and not gin, rum, or beer? We are all fans of whiskey, lol. We would like to venture out some day with a line of spirits.... What band wouldn't? What is the significance behind the name, “Grave Digger”? Grave Digger came from one of the first songs we wrote as a band. We have also used it slightly for a bit of a mascot theme. Can you describe the flavor, and some of the ingredients? It has a standard whiskey base with spices added in, with fresh apples to create the flavor. How can we get our hands on a bottle? Right now, select Fort Collins and Loveland, CO stores carry it along with the distillery/tasting room itself. Feisty Spirits and 13 Nails would love to see it go national! With it being a local distillery, we are using a portion of each bottle to help fund the Easter Seals of Loveland, CO music department. It would be nice to one day have it grow to the point where we can help Easter Seals all over the country. If it goes well, do you foresee making other spirits in the future? If this one keeps going the way it does, it would be nice to have a full line of 13 Nails collab spirits. If you are in the Fort Collins/Loveland, Colorado area this Halloween season- try to get your hands on this rare regional select spirit! Also, CLICK HERE to hear the music that inspired it!
